Hardcore mode is an opt-in challenge mode that starts you with $10K instead of Normal Mode's $100K. Tighter capital, sharper risk feel, separate leaderboards. Switching modes force-closes any open trades and resets your bank to that mode's starting balance โ so you can't straddle both. Personal progression (level, XP, achievements, streaks) carries across modes; only your bank + open trades are mode-specific.

Why is the leaderboard leverage capped at 100ร when I can trade up to 500ร?
Leverage above 100ร is a personal-flex move, not a strategic one. Capping leverage at 100ร for ranking purposes keeps leaderboards a contest of skill rather than a contest of "who yolo'd hardest and survived." Your personal P&L and equity curve still reflect your real leverage; only the public scoreboard normalizes it. This applies equally to Free and Pro.
